We’ll be starting the SheRACES Trail Series in the lush, rolling valleys of Surrey.

Close to Guildford, the route journeys along the popular North Downs Way and surrounding quintessential English countryside. Passing through forests, over the hills and taking in some breathtaking views. 

Surrey Hills Course Information

    Date: Saturday 7th June 2025

    Location: Surrey Sports Park, Guildford

    Public transport: Guildford Railway Station 1.5km from event site (20 minute walk). Guildford is approx. 30-45 minutes from London by train with multiple trains running every hour.

  • There will be parking available at Surrey Sports Park, which will be payable in advance (£10 per vehicle). Car sharing is encouraged!

    Please indicate if you require parking on your booking.

    There are great transport options to Guildford Railway Station from London and the surrounding areas. The station is approximately 1.5km (20 minutes) walk from the event site.

    • The Surrey Hills routes are on runnable, sociable trails, all accessible for runners of mixed ability. The entire route is on established paths and trails whilst following Public Rights of Way.

    • The course will be fully signed, comprehensively waymarked and marshalled.

    • The entire route is mandatory.

    • There are various road crossings throughout the route. Please take great care at these locations, following the instructions of the marshals and always remembering that you have no special right of way over road traffic!

    • Participants have no special right of way over other recreational users and are reminded to be polite and courteous at all times.

  • There are two course options:

    • Approx. 50km with 1000m ascent

    • Approx. 25km with 500m ascent

  • Details of vendors and amenities will be released in due course.

    • There will be support points on route for both distances. Support point information will be released in due course.

    • There will be no on-course cut offs across the entire SheRACES Trail Series.

    • Estimated course close for both distances is 10pm. We will not enforce mid-course cut offs on any of the races. So long as you are moving forward, we'll do our best to support you to reach the finish.

  • Early bird entry fees for the races:

    • 50km: £85

    • 25km: £65

    Surrey Hills early bird entry fees are valid until Sunday 30th March.
